The Russian army has begun using a new modification of the Geran-5 K5-K missile. This was stated by radio technology expert Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov.

According to the specialist, the first instances of this specific missile variant were recorded only a month ago.

Beskrestnov highlighted several key differences between the new version and previous ones. Among the main features, the expert noted the installation of an optical navigation system.

In addition, according to the specialist, the modified Geran-5 K5-K demonstrates improved tactical characteristics. Specifically, the flight range, speed of movement, and the altitude at which this strike weapon can be employed have increased.
