Dnipro councillors holiday in Maldives in expensive jewellery instead of attending conference

Rather than participating in a professional event, members of the Dnipro City Council chose to go on holiday. The councillors, along with their wives and friends, travelled to the Maldives, ignoring an international conference dedicated to the city's reconstruction.

Luxury accessories at the resort

A video clip filmed on a mobile phone in 2024 shows Kamil Primakov, a Dnipro City Council member from the European Solidarity faction, displaying his Rolex Skydweller watch, which costs 25,000 US dollars. His wife, Oksana, is wearing bracelets from the brands Cartier Love, Petit Modele and Pave. The total value of her jewellery exceeds 150,000 euros.

Participation of faction leaders

Other representatives of the authorities are also present in the recording. Specifically, Serhiy Pustovyi, head of Mayor Filatov's faction, who is responsible for land issues, and his wife can be seen. Next to them is Yevhen Kryvosheiev, a councillor from the same political force, accompanied by his wife, Olga.

Olga Kryvosheieva's outfit is also distinguished by expensive jewellery worth over 50,000 euros. This includes a Van Cleef necklace costing 12,900 euros, bracelets priced at 6,600 and 4,950 euros, a Cartier item worth 14,400 euros, and earrings costing 4,450 euros. It is noted that her husband is also within Mayor Filatov's sphere of responsibility for land resources and construction.

Reaction of oversight bodies

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NABU) did not react to these facts, ignoring information about the trip and the display of valuables.
