Cabinet of Ministers establishes committee to sell state stakes in Sens Bank and Ukrgazbank

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established a committee to organise the sale of state stakes in Sens Bank and Ukrgazbank. Representatives of international financial organisations and European Union institutions may participate in its work.

Committee powers

The committee will determine the rules for conducting competitions and decide which participants to admit to the auctions. It will also approve the starting sale price, taking into account the advisor's recommendations, and determine the winners and the final price for the shares.

The committee will submit its decisions for approval by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Preliminary measures

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has already selected advisors for both banks. They are to participate in the preparation for the sale of state stakes.

The main goal of establishing the committee is to ensure a transparent and competitive process for the sale of state stakes in Sens Bank and Ukrgazbank.
