Dmytro Lytvin, the Ukrainian presidential adviser on communications, expressed his opinion regarding a piece by The Washington Post dedicated to the so-called "peace plan" for Ukraine. According to him, the leak of information to the press is an example of "decent PR" by the American side.

On Tuesday, in a comment to journalists, Lytvin emphasised that the published details do not represent a joint position of the US and European states. He explained that the text reflects the views of only part of the American team, which were voiced during negotiations with the Ukrainian and European delegations held in Florida on Friday.
«Це не "США та європейські країни". Це переказ погляду частини американської команди на зустріч у Флориді, де були американці, українці, європейці. Непоганий піар американської сторони» ("This is not 'the US and European countries'. This is a retelling of the view of part of the American team at the meeting in Florida, where Americans, Ukrainians, and Europeans were present. Decent PR by the American side"), – Lytvin noted.
