The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine is establishing a partnership with the American charitable foundation Revived Soldiers Ukraine. The cooperation aims to involve the international organisation in initiatives related to the prosthetics of Ukrainian veterans. Journalist and volunteer Roman Bochkala spoke about the agreements reached and the role of volunteers in future projects on his Facebook page.
According to Roman Bochkala, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine Inna Solodka plays a key role in establishing interaction between volunteer organisations and state structures.
The journalist thanked the official for her openness to cooperation and readiness to support initiatives aimed at helping Ukrainian defenders.
«Кабінет Інни Василівни завжди відкритий для наших героїв та тих, хто прагне їм допомогти» (Inna Vasyliivna's office is always open to our heroes and those who wish to help them), Bochkala noted.
One of the outcomes of this interaction was an agreement to cooperate with the American foundation Revived Soldiers Ukraine. The organisation will participate in initiatives related to the prosthetics of Ukrainian veterans.
As Roman Bochkala reported, the opportunities available abroad to Iryna Vashchuk-Disipo will become accessible to the Ministry of Social Policy team for the implementation of joint projects.
The journalist separately emphasised that helping military personnel who require prosthetics demands the combined efforts of state institutions, charitable organisations, and the volunteer community.
«Тут немає своїх та чужих. Тут треба діяти разом. І виключно на результат» (There are no friends or strangers here. We need to act together. And exclusively for the result), he stressed.
The team of the "Battalion Volunteer" charitable foundation will also take an active part in the planned initiatives. Bochkala announced the further implementation of joint projects, but did not yet disclose specific deadlines or details of future events.
It is worth noting that while hospitals in Ukraine are receiving new buses of wounded soldiers every day, and resuscitation wards designed for 15 beds are forced to accommodate 18 fighters, the founder of the American charitable foundation Revived Soldiers Ukraine, Iryna Vashchuk-Disipo, continues to transport the most severely wounded for treatment to the United States. Meanwhile, the foundation is developing a network of NextStep rehabilitation centres in Ukraine.
