New Delhi's position on the conflict in Ukraine
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed readiness to support any initiatives aimed at establishing peace in Ukraine. He stated this during a joint briefing with Polish government head Donald Tusk, which took place in New Delhi.
«Пам’ятаймо про те, що відбувається в Україні. Ми підтримуватимемо всі зусилля, спрямовані на досягнення миру» (Let us remember what is happening in Ukraine. We will support all efforts aimed at achieving peace), the Indian leader emphasised.
Cooperation between Warsaw and New Delhi
Donald Tusk assessed the results of the negotiations as fruitful. According to him, Poland and India will support each other on the international arena. Among the key priorities of cooperation, the Polish Prime Minister highlighted the development of the defence industry, the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, the implementation of satellite technologies, and ensuring independence from external suppliers of strategic raw materials.
«Ми працюватимемо разом, щоб Індія, Польща та Європа були безпечними й максимально незалежними від держав, які домінують у цих сферах» (We will work together so that India, Poland and Europe are safe and as independent as possible from states that dominate in these areas), Donald Tusk stated.
