President's adviser Beskrestnov dispels rumours of Starlink being cut off for the Ukrainian army

Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov, adviser to the President of Ukraine and a military expert in radio technologies, dispelled concerns about the possible cessation of the Starlink satellite internet service for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, such rumours regularly appear online after Elon Musk's public political statements, but they have no basis.

Economic benefit for SpaceX

Beskrestnov emphasised that cooperation with the American company SpaceX is reliable and stable for Ukraine. He cited pure business logic as the main argument against the disconnection scenario.

“We have good and stable partner relations with the company SpaceX. Musk is primarily a businessman, and Ukraine brings significant profit to the company SpaceX, so I am confident that no one will turn off Starlink in Ukraine,” noted the adviser to Zelensky.

Other potential risks

At the same time, the expert warned that alternative scenarios of events should not be ignored. In his assessment, a greater surprise for the defenders could be the decision to connect the Starlink service on the territory of Russia.

Beskrestnov also added that hostile Telegram channels are actively spreading alarming forecasts, trying to heighten anxiety among Ukrainian servicemen.
