Shooter injures six at Pechersk TCC in Kyiv, faces life imprisonment

Police have informed a 41-year-old Kyiv resident of suspicion, who has become a subject of criminal proceedings regarding the incident at the Pechersk Territorial Centre for Conscription and Social Support. The man faces a punishment of life imprisonment.

Course of events

According to law enforcement data, the suspect was forcibly brought to the TCC premises. While there, he took out a pistol hidden under his clothes. The weapon was used: the subject fired at least seven shots.

As a result of the shooting, six people were injured. Among the victims are three military registrars and three police officers.

Health condition of the victims

According to the investigation, two of the six injured are in a serious condition.
