Flagship service in honour of a distinguished historian
Ukrzaliznytsia has officially announced the introduction of three new international rail connections. The main highlight of this programme is Train No. 23/24 on the Kyiv — Holm route, which has been named after Mykhailo Hrushevsky. The choice of name is not accidental: the distinguished Ukrainian historian and head of the Central Rada was born in the city of Holm, and his professional path in Kyiv lasted almost two decades.
According to the company's press service, this train will feature modern carriages with enhanced comfort. It is worth noting that this rolling stock was manufactured at Ukrainian enterprises during the full-scale war. An additional feature of the route will be musical accompaniment: the departure of the train will be accompanied by the track "Nash chas nastav" by the band MUR.
New connections via Przemysl
In addition to the service to Holm, the railway has scheduled two more international trains that will run via the Polish city of Przemysl.
Train No. 31/32 on the Kyiv — Przemysl route will depart from the capital at 21:30. Arrival at the destination is scheduled for 8:19 the next day. During the journey, the train will stop in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv. This route provides convenient transfers to trains heading to Prague, Berlin, Wroclaw, Krakow and Katowice.
Route from Dnipro to Poland
The third new service is Train No. 73/74 Dnipro — Przemysl. It will depart from Dnipro at 19:00 and arrive in Przemysl at 14:10. The route passes through Kamianske, Pyatyhatky, Oleksandriia, Znamianka and Lviv. In Przemysl, passengers will be able to transfer to international services to Warsaw, Krakow, Prague and Munich.
