Temporary suspension of production processes

In Lutsk, the enterprise “Kromberg and Schubert Ukraine LU” (Kromberg & Schubert) has ceased operations. As reported on the official page of Kromberg & Schubert Lutsk, the decision was made due to the deterioration of the security situation following Russian strikes. Currently, company representatives are assessing the existing circumstances and determining next steps.

Priority of staff safety

An official statement emphasised that the primary priority remains preserving the lives and health of employees. Staff are advised to maintain contact with their immediate supervisors.

«Робота підприємства зупинена!» (“The enterprise's operations have been halted!”) — it is noted in the company's message.

In addition, management expressed gratitude to the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and other emergency services for their prompt actions and protection of people. A notice regarding the possible resumption of work will be sent via internal communication channels as soon as it becomes possible.

Context of Russian attacks

On 16 October, Russian forces struck an enterprise with foreign investments in Lutsk. According to Roman Romanyuk, acting head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, the facility sustained a repeat hit.

It is worth noting that Kromberg & Schubert is an international company specialising in the production of cable systems and electrical components for the automotive industry.
