72nd Brigade withdraws from Novolaspivka

Tonight, following an artillery barrage, terrorists attempted to capture Starohnatove. Around 400 militants in armoured vehicles launched an attack against the 72nd Brigade. However, the outcome was far from what they had expected.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine not only managed to put up a worthy resistance against the terrorists but also, during a counter-attack, occupied the village of Novolaspivka, located in the territory of the so-called DNR.

The battle lasted more than five hours. According to official information, four Ukrainian soldiers were killed and several others were wounded.

Currently, the 72nd Brigade is leaving the village and returning to its previous positions in order not to violate the Minsk Agreements.
