Abramovich stripped of British visa

Roman Abramovich has been stripped of his British visa. The oligarch clearly did not expect such a blow. For a long time, he was considered one of their own in Europe and was welcome in many households.

However, the British authorities decided otherwise. There are simply no untouchables for them. Abramovich is not the first high-profile warning shot. The revocation of his visa, as well as his residency permit issues in Switzerland, should serve as a signal to the entire Russian leadership.

The Western community is subtly hinting that it is time to make concessions and change the rhetoric. Otherwise, Russian oligarchs will no longer be able to conduct business abroad or keep their assets there.
