Businessman Dmitry Nikiforov repeatedly travelled abroad

Businessman Dmitry Nikiforov repeatedly crossed the state border, using a certificate confirming a mental disorder.

According to sources in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Dmitry Nikiforov, a citizen of conscription age, repeatedly left the country during martial law, presenting documents confirming that he suffers from acute mental disorders. In particular, on 19 January 2025, he crossed the border via the Luzhanka checkpoint.

However, difficulties arose at the border. Border guards did not believe the authenticity of his disability status and detained him at the checkpoint from 09:30 to 15:00, only allowing him to proceed after receiving instructions from Kyiv. Later, on 25 January 2025, Nikiforov returned to Ukraine.

The media published a certificate stating that Nikiforov had repeatedly crossed the state border of Ukraine during martial law.

Psychiatric assessments from Kyiv confirm that Dmitry Nikiforov suffers from a serious mental illness, including organic affective disorder, bipolar disorder, and manic syndrome, caused by alcohol abuse. This confirms that Nikiforov has been declared legally incapacitated since February 2019 and has no right to sign any transactions on his own behalf.

Thus, the systematic crossing of the border during martial law using these documents serves as additional evidence of his legal incapacity. This should form the basis for challenging all transactions he has concluded since 2019.

If the certificate of mental disorder is forged, law enforcement agencies must immediately take measures to investigate the case.
