The Oposhchzh MP has not appeared at a Verkhovna Rada session for over a year, that is, since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, he is in no hurry to give up his mandate. No wonder, as rumours have it, the cost of a place on the party's lists exceeded one million dollars. Although, Tkachuk has surely already "recouped" them anyway.

The customs officer-turned-MP is known for seizing Vishenka Lake and lands within Ukraine. Moreover, there is an opinion that his actions went far beyond the bounds of the law.

He is now having a wonderful time abroad. Moreover, despite the war, Tkachuk was seen dancing merrily in Montenegro to songs by Russian performers. A video of his dancing was uploaded to TikTok. However, it was soon removed. But users managed to download the clip and publish it.
