Johnny Depp to star in new Harry Potter film

Warner Bros has invited "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp to appear in a new Harry Potter film, and the actor has not declined the opportunity to remind audiences of himself.

The film will be based on J.K. Rowling's book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". A total of five films are planned. David Yates will direct the first part, with J.K. Rowling herself serving as the screenwriter.

Depp has been allocated a cameo role in this Harry Potter spin-off. However, his role is planned to be significantly expanded in the sequel to "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The first film will be released in cinemas on 18 November this year. The second is scheduled for 2018.

The first part of the film features Colin Farrell, Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, John Voight, and other well-known actors.
