Efremov charged with new offence

Bail of 3.6 million hryvnia was posted today for former MP Alexander Efremov. However, the head of the Party of Regions faction did not have time to go free and flee abroad.

In the evening, according to sources in the prosecutor's office, Efremov was charged with separatism. Bail is not provided for under this article, so this time the court will be forced to choose a preventive measure for Efremov, either detention or, which is unlikely, a written undertaking not to leave the country.
