Former mayor of Irpin attempts to illegally seize land plots

The former mayor of Irpin is attempting to seize land plots in the centre of Borodyanka through shell companies. Residents of the settlement have disseminated information on this matter. The case concerns two plots in the centre of Borodyanka, measuring 0.14 and 0.026 hectares, which are being attempted to be sold to commercial entities at a price equivalent to the monthly land rent.

Allegedly, such a decision is to be made tomorrow – on 25 April – at a session of the settlement council. The new owner of the land in the centre of the settlement is to become the limited liability company “TC Borodyanka”. The company’s directors are Karplyuk’s ex-partner, Natalya Boychuk, and the head of the “New Faces” party organisation, Roman Dyachenko.

At the same time, Volodymyr Karplyuk himself positions himself as a fighter against corruption. It is true that it was precisely due to corruption that his entry into the US was denied. But that, of course, is a different matter.
