Gazprom cuts staff over losses

Gazprom is planning significant staff reductions. The central office workforce is expected to be cut by almost half, from 4,100 to 2,500 employees.

The main reason for this decision was the record losses incurred by the corporation.

It is worth noting that the company is suffering losses due to the war in Ukraine and the cessation of Russian gas transit through its territory.
