Is Ukraine ready for an attack from the sky?

A few days ago, information appeared about the presence of Russian military aircraft in the sky over Ukraine. Moreover, it was reported that enemy aviation struck the positions of our military. Immediately, panic arose among the population, along with perfectly reasonable questions: where is our air defence?!

According to the air defence personnel themselves, they can see the sky far beyond Ukraine's territory and record everything. A few months ago, some state-of-the-art equipment was brought in and installed, allowing them to detect everything flying in our airspace.

There is also means to shoot down enemy aircraft. Anti-aircraft artillery units are being renamed to anti-aircraft missile units, and are being equipped with MANPADS. There are sufficient numbers of systems and ammunition for them.  Training exercises are in full swing.

One hopes that our services will be able to respond adequately to foreign military aviation in the sky over our country. And that the situation with the bombing of our positions and peaceful cities by aviation will not happen again.
