A local figure (a former law enforcement officer) appeared who decided to "grab" the plant. Using the old and well-known scheme, a gas meter inspection was initiated. As a result, a discrepancy of 4 cubic meters per year was found (out of 30,000 cubic meters). The outcome was the opening of a case. Office equipment was seized, and production was halted. A classic case of raiding!
