Korban claims freedom of speech is being privatised in Ukraine

Recently, information emerged that a Cypriot company controlled by the president acquired the stake in the holding owned by Ihor Huzhva, editor-in-chief of the "Vesti" publication. Today, law enforcement agencies publicly announced that Huzhva is suspected of tax evasion exceeding 10 million hryvnia, and a criminal case has already been opened on this matter. Many have noticed a certain connection here. Oligarch Hennadiy Korban believes that the privatisation of freedom of speech is taking place in Ukraine.

Из этого следует, что свободу слова у нас в стране ненавидит один человек. Его не интересует судьбы людей на фронте, которые продолжают погибать. Ему безразлично нищенское положение собственного народа. Его уже не беспокоит территориальная целостность страны. Зато ему важно, что о нем говорят и пишут. Это такая местечковая ментальность, важнее не что ты делаешь, а «шо люди кажуть». Не завидую журналистам Пятого канала, которые скоро превратятся в УТ1 времен Кучмы. Приватизация СМИ продолжиться. Могу предположить, куда еще в ближайшее время придет фискальная служба со всем аппаратом - ЦЕНЗОР, Инсайдер, Обозреватель, Телеканал 112, Плюсы и немногие другие СМИ. Крепитесь, друзья. I do not envy the journalists of the Fifth Channel, who will soon turn into the UT1 of the Kuchma era. The privatisation of media will continue.
