Korban taken away again in unknown direction

This morning, the Novozavodskyi District Court of Chernihiv continued hearing the case on the choice of preventive measure for Hennadii Korban, leader of the UKROP party, oligarch and known raider. 72 hours after his detention, the court released Korban directly from the courtroom; however, law enforcement officers subsequently took him away in an unknown direction.

The lawyers of the UKROP leader do not know where their client is. It is not ruled out that this time Korban will be taken to Kyiv, where certain security measures are already being implemented – regular buses with passengers are being turned back by traffic police and not allowed into the capital.

A group of the oligarch's supporters attempted to prevent the car containing Korban from leaving, but he was eventually taken away.
