Lithuania fails to deliver thousands of drones to Ukraine

Lithuanian drones intended for transfer to Ukraine by the end of 2024 are still in storage, LRT reports.

Thomas Milasauskas, a representative of RSI Europe, a company supplying unmanned aerial vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the equipment was shipped as early as last autumn. However, confirmation of the drones' delivery has yet to be received, a fact also confirmed by other developer companies.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defence assured that the drones purchased for Ukraine would be delivered in the near future. Meanwhile, political figures pointed to bureaucratic procedures as the main reason for the delay in transferring the equipment.
