Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Chairman Goes to War
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Chairman Vasyl Skrypnychuk has joined one of the volunteer
battalions and gone to
fight in the ATO zone. This was announced by Deputy
Chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Ostap Dzyesa.
«Информирую о том, что председатель облсовета
Василий Скрипничук с 12 марта находится в отпуске сроком на 43 дня. В прошлую субботу
он прибыл в расположение одного из добровольческих батальонов. Соответственно
поэтому он не присутствует на сегодняшней сессии» (I am informing you that Regional Council Chairman
Vasyl Skrypnychuk has been on leave for 43 days since 12 March. Last Saturday
he arrived at the location of one of the volunteer battalions. Accordingly,
he is not present at today's session), Ostap Dzyesa said at
the regional council session on Friday.
Skrypnychuk is not the first serving official
to go to the ATO.
