Truth revealed about Rotaru's alleged kidnapping

Last week, information about the kidnapping of Sofia Rotaru swept through the media and social networks. A certain man claimed that he had taken the artist hostage and was forcibly holding her in an apartment in the centre of the Russian capital.

At the same time, on Rotaru's Instagram page, the artist herself was posting photographs of herself relaxing abroad. The star's fans were baffled as to what was happening.

As it turned out, the so-called "kidnapping" was nothing more than the fantasy of yet another not entirely sane fan of the performer. In reality, no one kidnapped Rotaru, and nothing threatens her life or health.
