SBU denies entry ban on Burdzhanadze

Today, several media outlets published information that the Security Service of Ukraine had banned Georgian political figure Nino Burdzhanadze from entering our country. However, it turned out that this is not true.

«Станом на 3 серпня 2015 року Служба безпеки України не приймала рішення про заборону в’їзду на територію України лідера "демократичного руху" Грузії Ніно Бурджанадзе» (As of 3 August 2015, the Security Service of Ukraine had not made a decision to ban the entry into the territory of Ukraine of the leader of the "Democratic Movement" of Georgia, Nino Burdzhanadze), the SBU press service reported.

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry insists on the entry ban for the Georgian politician. The reason was Burdzhanadze's statements in Moscow that Crimea is Russia and will never be Ukraine.
