School textbook with unexpected link

A link leading to a porn site has been found in a Ukrainian language textbook. The publisher's error sparked a storm of reactions online, and the print run may now become an unexpected bestseller.

How did this happen?

A hyperlink in the educational material intended for schoolchildren leads to adult content instead of an educational resource. 

In fact, it was originally a perfectly harmless website for the Novomirhord district of Kirovohrad region. However, the domain was subsequently reprofiled to adult content in some way.

Public and social media reaction

After the error was discovered, social media users reacted with irony. Many joke that this print run will now become the most popular among schoolchildren. Others point to serious problems in the system for checking educational materials before publication.
