Tatars intend to block the border with Crimea

Today, on Tuesday, 8 September 2015, at 13:30, a press conference will be held at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre, where an initiative group of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainian patriots will announce preparations for a peaceful blockade of the administrative border with Crimea.

Главная задача - найти действенные механизмы, которые позволят Украине защищать права граждан, проживающих в Крыму", - сообщил Рефат Чубаров. Despite the fact that the action is intended to be peaceful, Crimean Tatars fear a new wave of repression against their families and themselves by the authorities of the Russian Federation.
