Trump discusses possible end to war in Ukraine with Putin

Latest news from the US — former President Donald Trump stated that he held a conversation with Vladimir Putin regarding the resolution of the war in Ukraine.

• As part of diplomatic initiatives, he proposes striking a deal with Kyiv worth $500 million. The US could gain access to Ukraine's rare earth mineral and gas reserves in exchange for security guarantees.
• He also emphasised that Putin is not indifferent to the losses among Russian military personnel.
• However, when asked about the details of his communication with the head of the Kremlin, Trump responded evasively: «Я лучше промолчу» (I would rather keep quiet).
