Searches conducted at members of Korban's team

By-elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Chernihiv's 205th constituency are approaching, and tensions are rising alongside them. This morning, law enforcement officers arrived at the hotel where members of Hennadii Korban's team are staying, carrying warrants for a search. The document was issued by the Desnyansky District Court of Chernihiv. This was reported by Andrii Denysenko. He stated that he expects provocations from law enforcement officers.

Today around 7 a.m. in Chernihiv, about a hundred police officers with automatic weapons broke into the central Hotel Ukraina and conducted searches in 12 rooms, where members of the NGO 'Control and Security', who are participating in the campaign for Hennadii Korban as a candidate for People's Deputy, are staying.

I openly expected planted weapons and ammunition, since the newly appointed head of the city police, an open separatist Anton Shevtsov, headed the security service of Berezenko's headquarters just 10 days ago. But the immediate reaction and active stance of the hotel guests forced the law enforcement officers to retreat within half an hour without incriminating evidence.
