Ukraine to receive latest precision-guided weapons

According to Defense Express, Ukraine may soon receive unique weapons, including missiles and bombs with comparable characteristics. 

This innovative solution opens up new possibilities for striking targets at significant distances, including maritime targets, even if they are moving.

Features of the new weapon

The system is expected to be equipped with a combined guidance system, which includes:

• Satellite navigation (GPS) for determining the general trajectory.
• A seeker head, ensuring accuracy in the final stage of impact.

The new missile-bomb is expected to be based on modern technologies, such as the GLSDB (Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb). These developments have already proven their effectiveness due to their mobility, versatility, and ability to hit targets in complex conditions.

Advantages for the Ukrainian military

The introduction of such weapons into the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be a significant development. Key capabilities include:

• Strikes on targets deep in the rear.
