Second casualty identified near Krasnohorivka

The identity of the second person killed near Krasnohorivka after hitting a mine has been established...

Sergey was my colleague; he was a good, sincere and open person who viewed all problems too simply and told others «забей» (let it go) - that was exactly what I admired most about him. I remember listening to music with him, and he would say - «о,а эту оставь» (oh, leave that one) or «дай назад» (rewind it) and start dancing. You could listen to his stories about long-distance trips for hours; they were always interesting, funny and had an unexpected but happy ending ...

Today I learned that Serhiy Vladymyrovych Kornytskyi is gone, that he died on the battlefield, that he died as a Hero. It is simply hard to believe that this person is no longer alive, that at some point his life came to an end; it feels like we will see each other soon, talk for no more than five minutes, and then each of us will go about our business.

Sergey was 31 years old and served as a sapper in the engineering sapper company of the engineering support group of military unit PP V0095.
