The tragedy occurred today on the Kharkiv–Kyiv highway. Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the vehicle was the husband of blogger Anna Zhuk, known by the pseudonym Anet.

Sources report that the driver attempted to overtake a vehicle by pulling into the right lane, where a stationary car was parked. As a result of the collision, Anna was killed at the scene.

Her child was in the back seat, sustained injuries, and was rushed to hospital. Medics assess the child's condition as critical.
