Residents of Dniprodzerzhynsk receive fake gas bills

In Dniprodzerzhynsk, city residents unexpectedly received inflated gas bills. People were horrified to discover that they owed the city gas company huge sums, several times higher than the actual amounts.

«…Residents, despite having gas meters installed in their apartments, have mass received payment receipts with astronomical sums, many times exceeding what they should pay, according to meter readings and current (new) tariffs. 
Many Dniprodzerzhynsk residents, despite the air temperature in the city being +36, rushed to the city gas company to clarify the reason for such robbery-like sums. But it turned out that doing so is not so simple: one has to queue from 4 a.m. and even then it is not guaranteed that they will be able to get into the customer service department on that day, which is located near the central entrance, where the offices of the head of the city gas company and his subordinates are located. 
What does that matter? There are air conditioners there, allowing them to "manage" in comfortable conditions. And with my own eyes, several old ladies in the stuffy and hot customer service department fell from heatstroke and heart attacks. 
My attempt to invite the head of the Dniprodzerzhynsk city gas company to the customer service department led to nothing: the heavy security at the central entrance reported that the head is resolving some issues in Dnipro and that meeting with him is generally not realistic. 
Meanwhile, people were coming and demanding explanations regarding the inflated sums. 
- It is Kyiv's fault. The Government, - answered one of the department heads who finally deigned to come out to the people.
And then she explained that all these bills are fake and there is no need to react so violently to them. And they do not need to be paid.

A similar situation with electricity and water bills is happening in Dnipro itself. It appears to be a targeted campaign, on the eve of local elections, aimed at discrediting the existing authorities and increasing the level of discontent in society.
