Checkpoint shelled in Kyiv overnight

Today overnight, a stationary checkpoint on Brovarskyi Avenue in Kyiv was shelled with automatic weapons. The shooting allegedly came from a nearby tree line. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Police who arrived at the scene found spent casings from automatic weapons. A criminal case has been opened.

Около 00:30 неизвестные из автоматического оружия обстреляли здание стационарного поста. По предварительной информации стреляли со стороны лесопарковой зоны, на противоположной стороне дороги. (At approximately 00:30, unknown individuals shelled the building of a stationary post with automatic weapons. Preliminary information indicates that the shooting came from the direction of the forest park zone, on the opposite side of the road.)

На место была вызвана СОГ. В ходе осмотра изъяты гильзы от автоматического оружия. (The Investigative Group was called to the scene. During the inspection, spent casings from automatic weapons were seized.)

Открыто уголовное производство. (A criminal case has been opened.)
