Abducted official found beaten in Mariupol

The head of the registration department, who was kidnapped several days ago in Mariupol, was found by the Security Service of Ukraine. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of $100,000 for the official.

Сегодня ночью, в частном секторе города, в ходе спецоперации сотрудниками милиции Донецкой области и СБУ был найден похищенный житель Мариуполя с многочисленными травмами, его избивали и пытали. После освобождения потерпевший в тяжелом состоянии находится в больнице. (Tonight, in the private sector of the city, during a special operation by officers of the Donetsk Regional Police and the Security Service of Ukraine, the kidnapped Mariupol resident was found with numerous injuries; he had been beaten and tortured. After his release, the victim is in hospital in a serious condition.)

Преступники задержаны. Ими оказались двое молодых мужчин, жители одной из областей Украины. (The criminals have been detained. They turned out to be two young men, residents of one of the regions of Ukraine.)
