Militants kill two women in Snizhne on May 9

On the night of May 9–10, militants killed two young women in Snizhne who were returning home at night from Victory Day celebrations.

The women were heading home around 23:30. Although the curfew had been lifted that day, this did not prevent representatives of the military administration from opening fire on the car in which they were travelling. According to social media reports, there were four people in the car: one man and three women, two of whom were killed.

The militia member took his own life the following morning; a wedding with one of the deceased women was scheduled for a month later.
