Mass blocking of Ukrainian accounts on Twitter

Following Facebook, Ukrainian bloggers' accounts on the social network Twitter have been subjected to repression. Sanctions have been imposed on virtually all top bloggers on the platform.

All of them were blocked following complaints filed by pro-Russian accounts that disliked their messages and shared tweets. This included not only recent posts, but also those from a year ago.

Sanctions also affected the accounts of several media outlets.

The situation has already reached the Ukrainian Ambassador to Finland, who uses Twitter. He contacted the technical support service to draw attention to what is happening.

It is worth noting that a number of accounts have already been unblocked.
