Veterans in Ukraine will be given the opportunity to study free of charge at Ukrainian educational institutions, Deputy Defence Minister Oleksiy Melnyk said.

According to the official, the state will also ensure the employment of veterans in bodies of state authority and local self-government.

In addition, combat veterans are planned to be involved in teaching basic military training and specialised subjects. This step is aimed at effectively utilising their experience and knowledge for the training of new specialists.
