Pneumonia outbreak in Lviv Oblast

A sharp rise in pneumonia cases has been recorded in Lviv Oblast, resulting in the hospitalisation of 30 patients over the past few days. The affected individuals include both young people and the elderly.

The illness begins with symptoms similar to those of influenza or a common cold: a temperature rise to 39 degrees, coughing, and severe weakness. 

However, by the third or fourth day, the disease progresses, and the temperature becomes difficult to reduce even with medication.
