Flower procurement worth 100,000 hryvnias in frontline Pokrovsk

In the frontline city of Pokrovsk, despite the dire situation in the city, a tender has been announced for the procurement of 1,265 flowers for awards, valued at 100,000 hryvnias. Information about this appeared in the Prozorro system and immediately became a topic of discussion.

The news of such a procurement has caused surprise, given that the city remains without electricity, heating, and gas, while the front line is located just a few kilometres away. 

Many have expressed bewilderment, considering that such expenditures appear, to put it mildly, inappropriate under martial law conditions. Nevertheless, authorities have not yet commented on how flowers for awards became a priority expenditure item in the difficult humanitarian situation.
