Pavlenko's wife triggers latest scandal

A new scandal has erupted around Andriy Pavlenko, President of the Ukrainian Football Association. This time, it was instigated by the oligarch's wife, Kateryna Chaus.

On her social media page, she posted a photo in which she is genuinely rejoicing over the victory of the Russian national team at the World Cup.

In the conclusion of her post, Kateryna wrote to the Russian national team: «Украина с вами, даже в Германии» (Ukraine is with you, even in Germany).

The post was immediately picked up by activists on social media, who launched a barrage of criticism and even abuse at Pavlenko's common-law wife. She herself does not react to such attacks.
