FirePoint reports first launch of its own ballistic missile at Russia

Ukrainian defence company FirePoint reported that its developers had used their own ballistic missile for the first time to strike targets on Russian territory. This was stated by the company's technical director, Iryna Terekh, while discussing the firm's developments.

«Ми вперше запустили нашу власну балістичну ракету по території РФ. Це тактична балістична ракета з дальністю до 300 км» (We launched our own ballistic missile at Russian territory for the first time. It is a tactical ballistic missile with a range of up to 300 km), she emphasised.

Details and development plans

According to Iryna Terekh, the specific target of the launch is not disclosed. Meanwhile, the FirePoint technical director stated that the company plans to develop a missile with an extended flight range by the end of 2026.
