Temporary issues with product availability

The Ukrainian pharmaceutical market has faced a temporary shortage of products from German company Bayer. In particular, the drug Cardioaspirin has disappeared from pharmacy chains in Kyiv and several other cities. Ukrainian media report this.

Explanation from the manufacturer

Representatives of Bayer confirmed the existence of difficulties but noted that this does not mean a cessation of supplies or withdrawal of products from the Ukrainian market. According to the manufacturer, the root of the problem lies in malfunctions in the logistics system. Bayer assures that the situation is temporary in nature.

When medicines will appear on shelves

Currently, batches of goods are already within Ukrainian territory. However, before the medicines reach the distribution network, regulatory and certification procedures must be completed. The company forecasts that the availability of Bayer products in pharmacies will gradually recover during the second half of October.
