Ihor Kolomoisky publicly indicated the country where, in his opinion, former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko is located. When asked by journalists where the court summons should be sent, the businessman replied: “Відень, Австрія. Це є у відкритих джерелах” (Vienna, Austria. This is in open sources).

Court hearing progress

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv is continuing to review case No. 761/40930/25, filed by Kolomoisky against the online media outlet “Stop Corruption”, the Office of the Prosecutor General, and former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko. The plaintiff's side claims that statements made during the Prosecutor General's briefing (which was broadcast by Suspilne and rebroadcast on the “Stop Corruption” YouTube channel) caused reputational damage to the businessman.

The hearing, scheduled for 10:00 on Friday, 2 October 2026, was attended by Ihor Kolomoisky himself, his lawyers, representatives of the defendants, and a media filming crew. At the beginning of the session, it became known that on 1 October, the businessman's representatives filed a number of motions, including one to change Kravchenko's procedural status from an official to a private individual.

Conflict in the courtroom

Representatives of the Office of the Prosecutor General noted that a technical break was insufficient to review the new documents. Kolomoisky's lawyers suggested simply reading out the motions, leaving their consideration for the next session. The Office's side emphasised that it was acting within its powers and sought to clearly delineate the roles of the participants in the proceedings.

Ihor Kolomoisky reacted emotionally to this, urging his opponents to first determine their own status and withdraw from the proceedings. He added: “А получается, что вы продолжаете. Кравченко нет, а дело его живёт” (So, you continue. Kravchenko is not there, but his case lives on). The businessman also stated that he plans to address the Office's leadership with a demand to review its procedural position.

Due to the emotional dispute, the presiding judge intervened in the dialogue. She called on the participants to maintain order, not interrupt each other, speak only with permission, and show respect for the court. As a result, the court decided to postpone the review; the date of the next session will be announced later.

Comments after the hearing

After the session ended, Ihor Kolomoisky was escorted out of the court premises, but journalists managed to have a brief conversation with him. In addition to information about Kravchenko's whereabouts, the businessman was asked about his attitude towards the new Acting Prosecutor General, Anton Kovalskyi. Kolomoisky replied: “Нікакої думки у мене немає” (I have no opinion).

Previously, Ihor Kolomoisky had stated that the court was biased and demanded a re-examination in this case.
