Inna Kostyria, who holds the position of vice-rector at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, has extensive experience in senior management in higher education and has made several attempts to become a member of the Verkhovna Rada. According to information from the YouControl service, an apartment of 122 square metres is registered in Kostyria's name in the Pechersk district of Kyiv. This property was purchased in 2012, with an estimated value of approximately 300,000 US dollars at the time. In the same building, a parking space is also allocated to the vice-rector. Outside the capital, she owns four land plots in Kirovohrad Oblast, with a total area exceeding eight hectares.

Vehicle fleet

Inna Kostyria also owns a BMW 520D manufactured in 2024. According to data from the AUTO.RIA platform, similar models on the secondary market are valued at up to 62,500 US dollars. Other vehicles also appear in public photographs, including a boat with an estimated value of 800,000 euros and a Bentley, which may cost up to 240,000 euros.

Wardrobe and jewellery analysis

Journalists reviewed 26 public photos from the vice-rector's social media, attempting to identify clothing and accessory brands. The same Graff ring is visible in nine photos, and its external similarity allows for an estimated value of approximately 700,000 euros. A Rolex watch was recorded three times, with a price of around 300,000 euros.

Among other wardrobe items captured in the frame are a fur coat worth approximately 30,000 euros, Cartier earrings (prices vary from 100,000 to 250,000 euros depending on the model), a Dior jacket and handbag, as well as an Hermès scarf. The photos also show a Gucci jacket with an estimated value of 120,000 hryvnia and a Dior handbag costing around 250,000 hryvnia. It is important to note that these estimates are based solely on the visual similarity of the items in the photos and do not confirm their authenticity or ownership.

Family assets

The vice-rector's daughter, Uliana, actively shares photos from trips across Europe on social media. In the pictures, she displays branded clothing, including a Gucci jacket worth over 3,000 dollars. Although no assets are officially registered in her name, Uliana is the founder of a charity golf tournament, a golf champion of Ukraine, and frequently vacations in Switzerland, France and Spain.

Inna Kostyria's husband, Boris Novozhilov, owns real estate, including a 361-square-metre house in Hostomel, an apartment in Kyiv and a garage box. The majority of this property, according to register data, was acquired through gift agreements.

Financial contrast: bank debt

Despite the displayed luxury, there is a notable contrast in the vice-rector's financial history. In 2023, "Universal Bank" filed a lawsuit to recover a debt of over 11,500 US dollars. This amount is insignificant compared to the value of the car or jewellery featured in her social media. However, the very fact of a court dispute over a relatively small debt against the backdrop of a huge fortune creates a specific picture.

Currently, none of the mentioned objects or sums constitute evidence of a crime. These are open data from registers and social media that only form a general impression of the financial status. At the same time, the combination of facts — from elite real estate and a new car to expensive jewellery — is difficult to reconcile with standard expectations regarding the income of the head of a state higher education institution.
