Meladze predicts Ukraine's failure at Eurovision

On Saturday, Ukraine finally decided who would represent the country at the Eurovision 2017 contest this year. The winner was the group O.Torvald.

While foreign viewers highly assess the group's chances of success, producer Konstantin Meladze holds a completely different opinion. The composer considers O.Torvald. unpromising. It is for this reason that he gave the group a low score.

In an interview, Meladze stated that he gave the group 2 points based on the genre in which the group works and its prospects at Eurovision 2017.

At the same time, the producer noted that he would like to be wrong and would be genuinely happy if the group managed to make it into at least the top 10.
