Consequences of missile hit on residential sector

On 7 October, Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on a five-storey building in one of the districts of Pryluky city in Chernihiv region. This incident caused not only housing destruction but also damage to gas networks.

According to information released by the Chernihiv branch of the "Gazmerezhi" company, gas communications were damaged as a result of the shelling. This led to over 18,000 local residents being temporarily left without gas supply.

Infrastructure restoration works

As noted by representatives of the energy company, specialists have already begun work to eliminate the consequences of the damage.

Housing losses and condition of the injured

In addition to infrastructure damage, the missile strike caused human casualties. Head of the Pryluky district police department Vladyslav Stoyanov reported that as of 8:20 am on 7 October, two people were known to have been killed and seven injured.
