Venezuelan President Wants to Liberate Puerto Rico
Self-proclaimed Venezuelan "President" Nicolás Maduro stated that he plans to invade Puerto Rico alongside Brazilian troops and free it from US influence.
During his speech at the closing ceremony of the International Anti-Fascist Festival in Venezuela, he emphasised: "La libertad de Puerto Rico es nuestro próximo objetivo, y lo vamos a lograr" (The freedom of Puerto Rico is our next goal, and we will definitely achieve it).
In response to these statements, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Svyryd reported that Ukraine supports the European Union's position regarding Maduro's "inauguration" and does not recognise him as the legitimate President of Venezuela.
