Bumbox tour at risk: issues with crossing the border

The band Bumbox has faced serious difficulties ahead of its anticipated European tour. The cause of the cancellation could be problems with obtaining the necessary documents for crossing the border. The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has suspended the issuance of these documents, which has significantly jeopardised the start of the tour.

Tour goals and charity involvement
The European tour was scheduled to begin in mid-March and would have been a significant event for the band, known for its active charitable work. Funds raised at the concerts are traditionally directed to the Andriy Khlyvniuk Foundation, which procures unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This aspect highlights the band's social mission and its contribution to supporting Ukraine.

Restrictions on men leaving the country
Starting from yesterday, Ukraine has introduced additional restrictions on leaving the country, which affect virtually all men, including volunteers participating in the "Shliakh" project. This decision has resulted in even activists working for the benefit of Ukraine being unable to leave the country.
